I used the Vista backup utility to create "File backups" of stuff from my PC that I stored on a NAS device. The main purpose for me was to backup a few docs and pdf's in the My Documents folder so doing a complete PC backup seemed over the top for my needs... well after screwing up TCP/IP I did a reinstall of the OS and I was trying restore those files using the "Advanced File restore" wizard, Vista is unable to locate a backup set although the folders and catalogs are still visible. Any ideas on how to retrieve the files? See the attachment for folder structure BTW... I did not use the complete PC backup only the file backup +-------------------------------------------------------------------+ |Filename: screen.jpg | |Download: 80 | +-------------------------------------------------------------------+ -- ithrowpicks Posted via http://www.vistaheads.com |
