Default Ready Boost Flash Drive 4 gb from 8 gb Drive

So let me see if I'm reading this right. I have a 2 GB memory card. I
have a 4 GB usb drive. There really isn't any point to me using the 4 GB
usb drive as ReadyBoost?

I'm running a DNS server under Vista Ultimate. I have an 8GB OCZ dual
channel USB flash memory with 4GB devoted to ReadyBoost. The ReadyBoost
cache is a busy beaver since I published my DNS address. Without ReadyBoost,
the wear and tear on the 5400rpm hard drive would kill it.

I have 1GB memory and only about 55% is used. This magic is done on a 2.4GHz
Dell Inspiron 5100.

ReadyBoost implements a relational data base in flash memory. Flash memory
has zero seek time. Do the math.

If by "2 GB memory card" you mean you have 2GB of RAM, you've got it
right.

The post a long time ago says readyboost really isnt effective unless
you have 1GB or less of RAM. And administrator, I'm sorry but I have no
idea what you are saying. I'm not that tech savvy.

To whom?

You need to learn how to quote what you are replying to if you plan on
using these groups for help again.

I'm not Peter and you already got answers to your issue, but here is what
Peter meant by "leech post":

You are not posting on a real forum as you think you are. You are using a
web interface that leeches Usenet posts and most of the rest of us are
using real newsreaders. We don't see what you do. If you want to
participate in Usenet, the better way is to set up a newsreader. This is
very easy to do and I'll give you information about that below. If you
prefer to use a forum, then here are two excellent ones:

http://forum.aumha.org/index.php
http://http://computerhaven.info/

Since you are using a web interface, you may not realize that this is really
a newsgroup. You will get far more out of this resource if you learn to use
a newsreader. There are many good newsreaders for Windows, but you can use
Outlook Express (XP) or Windows Mail (Vista) since you already have it.
