Thinkpad T42 Vista Business only 50Hz refresh
I have installed Vista Business on a Thinkpad T42. The display driver for
the ATI Radeon is reporting 50Hz max refresh rate and that is the max I can set under Vista. It really is flickering. Any idea how to get it 50? Thanks,

Make sure the monitor selection is correct -- I've found that the monitor

All, Just found the solution to the t42 vista refresh rate issue, where refresh rate is stuck at 50Hz. Use regedt32 to set the create the following key HKLM/Software/Microsoft/DirectDraw ForceRefreshRate DWORD 0x0000004b (75) That's it! Enjoy -- mitalum Posted via http://www.vistaheads.com
