Redirecting Pictures and Music Folder
On my Vista workstations I have changed the folder location for my Music and
my Pictures folders; however when I do that these folder automatically are made to be available offline. I have right clicked on them and unchecked the "Make Available Offline", but they still show up in the Sync Center. How can I remove them from the Sync Center? When I right click on the folder under Offline Files their isn't an option to delete the Sync. In my 2003 domain I have setup in Group Policy that it shouldn't automatically make redirected folder available offline, but I don't think Vista is using this setting. Thanks, Eric Renken

Sorry to dig up this old thread, but I am having this same issue. We have a Server 2003 Active Directory domain with many Windows XP clients and one Windows Vista Business x64 client. I have configured My Documents to be redirected and my Group Policy is set to disable making redirected folders offline. This works well for my XP boxes, but the Vista client doesn't seem to obey this setting. I can't seem to find the solution to this problem anywhere. Any help would be appreciated. -- AdmiralNemo

You need to use the new Group Policy tools for Vista...
