Default Can not save a wireless profile in Vista

I can manually connect to a wireless AP in Vista without issue as log as the
system see's the AP, however when I try to save the profile or create a
connection profile manually in the UI for Managing Wireless Networks I
receive a message window stating "Access Denied". No profiles are shown in
the wireless management for automatic connections.

The user profile on the system is setup as the Administrator with full
access.

Any help or direction to a solution to this issue would be greatly
appreciated.

I got around this problem by going to the following directory
"C:\*ProgramData\Microsoft*\Wlansvc\Profiles"

Contained in this directory is a directory called "Interfaces". I
changed the name of the "Interfaces" directory to "Interfaces_old". I
went back to edit the Wireless profile and it saved my changes - there
was no 'Access Denied' error anymore. Saving the wireless profile
recreated the "Interfaces" directory and everything worked fine.

If you can't see the "C:\ProgramData" directory, you have to go into the
Control Panel, double click "Folder Options", click on the "View" tab
and then click on "Show hidden files and folders". Click OK to close
the window.
