Default Slow printing in Word 2003

Hi
I have a problem printing from Word 2003 on a Vista PC. If I send a print
job from Word 2003 to a networked HP Colour LJ3505n printer, it justs spools
the job. If I minimise word and then maximise word it then prints. I can do
this after 10 seconds and then it will print, or wait 2 minutes and do this
and it will print!!
Printing from Adobe, Outlook, Excel all print straight away, the problem is
only printing from Word 2003.
I have removed the printer and driver, reinstalled but no joy. Have tried
this on another vista pc to the same networked printer, and this prints from
Word 2003 straight away. Both PC's have the same versions of software,
service packs, etc.
Can anyone help?

Check the settings in the printer driver for spooling on both computers. see
if they differ. Let us know.

Checked settings on both PC's and they are set to 'Spool print documents so
program finishes faster' and then 'start printing immediatley'.

Tried 'print directly to printer' but still the same
