I have posted a couple of messages over the last couple of days. And, at
least one of them was answered by someone. But, when I view the list, I don't see my own postings. Hmmm I'm using Vista, Microsoft Mail as the newsreader. Any thoughts? Thanks, Jim |

Tools = Options = General tab = remove the checkmark beside "Use news
group message rating features". There seems to be a bug with this feature where sometimes your message doesn't show up on the NNTP servers but does show up if you access the newsgroup by the web interface. Once you turn off this feature your posts will be posted to both. It appears to be a problem with the synchronization of the servers. Old posts will still be missing on the NNTP servers. I know Microsoft has been working on this. I guess it isn't fixed yet. -- Kerry Brown MS-MVP - Windows Desktop Experience: Systems Administration http://www.vistahelp.ca/phpBB2/ http://vistahelpca.blogspot.com/ "JimW" wrote in message ...
