Default Vista Really Slow Internet

Hi all,

I know this has been aked a lot but I've tried everything I've found. My internet seems to recently gone very slow. I used to get around a 1100kbps connection but this has dropped to 250kbps.

I know its a vista problem as I've tried the same connection on both an eeePC (linux) and XP laptop both of which get the 1100kbps connection.

I'm wired but do have the ability to go wireless (I have the wireless adapter turned off at the min). But when I do go wireless I have the same slow connection, it is also as slow in safe mode.

Please any help would be very much appreciated.

You may want to disable auto tuning. Or this search result may help too.

Default Vista Really Slow Internet

1. Update Firmware in the Router.
2. Right-click on your Network Connection Properties unbind TCP/IPv6
