Click Tools/Options/Spelling Tab. In the language dropdown select
another language & click 'Apply'. Reselect your language, click apply
and ok. Should work.

Jane, go to Tools - Options - Spelling - check box "always check spelling
before sending - select Language - English or your preference.

I hope this helps!

Open Windows Mail and go to the top of Windows Mail and click 'Tools', now go
to 'Options' and select the 'Spelling' tab. You will notice in the bottom
panel Language 'English' click the down arrow on the right of 'English' and
reselect 'English' and then click okay, your spell checker will then work.
