I am having the same problem and I did successfully complete the registration of the ole32.dll but am still experiencing the same issue of not being able to print or print preview. Any other thoughts? -- jstar ------------------------------------------------------------------------ jstar's Profile: http://forums.techarena.in/member.php?userid=20310 View this thread: http://forums.techarena.in/showthread.php?t=643671 http://forums.techarena.in |

Also, I noticed if I start IE7 as administrator, I don't have a problem with the print or print preview. (Obviously, I'm running this on Vista) So now the question is what could be the security settings that need to be adjusted to clear up the standard user running IE7. -- jstar ------------------------------------------------------------------------ jstar's Profile: http://forums.techarena.in/member.php?userid=20310 View this thread: http://forums.techarena.in/showthread.php?t=643671 http://forums.techarena.in |

Hi jstar
Just tried the run as administrator, but still cannot print. I do however now get a print preview window. But when I click the print icon I get this popup 'Before you can print, you need to select a printer. If you need to install a printer, either double-click the Add Printer icon or click the Find Printer... button located on the General tab of this dialog.' I highlight the printer but the Print button remains grayed out. Also noticed the Page Setup... option does not work. Simply setting the "full control" ntfs (for the logged in user) permissions one the temp-folder, solved it for me. -- bogeholm ------------------------------------------------------------------------ bogeholm's Profile: http://forums.techarena.in/member.php?userid=26005 View this thread: http://forums.techarena.in/showthread.php?t=643671 http://forums.techarena.in |
