Well, if CCleaner doesn't remove your restore points, how do you ensure
they are saved for future recall... I have allowed ample space for Sys
Restore points... that's what prompted me to post in this forum in the
first place

You are making no sense. I don't need to "ensure they are saved"
because I have more than I might need anyway. The oldest roll off as
newer ones are made.

Again... you are making no sense. First you say CCleaner is removing
them when I have no idea how it might be doing that, and now... hell,
I have NO idea what you are saying now.

I'm outta here. Good luck.

I have the same problem, and cannot see any option to show older restore
points. I have 16GB taken up by points, but only 2 points seem to be
showing in the restore window.

Is it possible that each point takes up 8GB? :-S

What defragger are you using? If it isn't VSS-compatible, yes, it is
possible that points will be HUGE.

I only use the standard Vista defragger which runs on the default schedule
when the computer is not in use.
