Default Cannot connect to printer error 0x0000007e

When I attempt to add a printer from our campus ADS network with my Vista
Ultimate x64 machine, I get the following error:

Windows cannot connect to the printer. Operation could not be completed.
(error 0x0000007e).

This happens regardless of the printer I try to connect to (different makes
and models). It also happens regardless of the machine the printer is
connected to.

Are you first installing Vista 64-bit drivers for the printers on your
machine? If not, that's your next step. Get them from the printer mftr.

I have the drivers installed for Vista x64. Most of the printers are HP
Laserjet 4350's. I can access the printer properties from my machine now,
but I can't "connect" to any printer to actually print from it.

Sounds like a permissions problem. I'd check with your campus IT Dept.

ERROR_MOD_NOT_FOUND - The specified module could not be found

This looks like a driver issue. Here are more words on what the error
means:

The notorious error 126 (ERROR_MOD_NOT_FOUND) when loading DLL/DSO's in
