Thanks to everyone who addressed my command line window issue... here's
another one that I'm hoping is something simple that I'm just missing! When I first got my computer and I doubled-clicked "My Computer" the window would open up, and all the devices were organized according to type... For example, "Local Hard Disks," "Optical," Removeable," "Network." There would be a nice bold heading, and the appropriate devices would be listed under it. Randomly, this rather convenient display changes to different sort views... List, detail, tile, etc. When this happens, no matter which view I select, I can't get it to separate by device type. Even if I do "organize by device type" I don't get the right view. Then, sometimes weeks later, it will randomly change back to the original view. Can somebody point me in the right direction of how to manually select this nicely sorted view? Thanks. .. .. ** Posted from http://www.teranews.com ** |
