Vista SP1 / 64 bit - is constantly showing 1 pending update. On shutdown it
says installing update 1 of 1. This never goes away - each subsequent shutdown says the say thing. Where can I look to see what update is stuck and how to clear it. Thanks |

In the start search box type in windows update. Then click on the program by the name of windows update & it should show you which update is pending. -- tanuj_chadha Tanuj History repeats itself, first as tragedy, second as farce. - Karl Marx :geek: |

Search for the KB number at Microsoft Download Center, download the update and install it manually. http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/ Should you need to uninstall updates, open up Control Panel Programs Uninstall program View updates. Keep in mind that removing an update may not always be possible. Charlie42 |
