Under a remote desktop session, I get a couple of extra printers (presumably,
I added these a long time back). I want to remove them but all efforts so far has not succeeded. The description itself on the printer has "redirected" added at the end. Short of deleting the reference to this printer from the registry which may not be safe, does anyone have any suggestions as to how to remove a printer like this? BTW, when I log in as the same user through the console, these additional printers do not show up. The only appear under a remote desktop session. Thanks. |

If before connecting to the remote system you click the "Options " button on the Remote Desktop Connection dialog and go to the "Local Resources" tab, is "Printers" checked? If so, try unchecking it before connecting to your remote system. Does that remove the unwanted printers? -- Larry Futrell |
