Network Shares 2003
Why are netowrk shares so slow to show up?
If I type \\computer\sharename... it takes over a minute to show the folder... any other machine on the network without vista is instantaneous... See my other post search for "Painfull Slow". http://windowshelp.microsoft.com/com...xp=&sloc=en-us At this point... VISTA is very pretty but for anyone that is using it in a development environment or in a networked environment it is not ready. I cannot believe that this issue is in a released version of windows... I guess network shares were not part of the test plan.

Have you tried to add your DNS addresses in staticaly? What about DNS Suffix
