Well, if you long and hard enough you find a solution. Many people have
been tracking why Outlook doesn't close after you apparently close it, yet if you open Task Manager, you see Outlook.exe still in the running processes. Turns out, if you have Skype running in the tray, then there is a default View in the Skype Menu that has "Show Outlook Contacts" and this keeps Outlook open as a Task in the Background. Take that tick out of the Skype menu and the problem goes away! Frenchy |
