I have a wireless modem/router which connects to the Internet. Laptop 1 (XP)
connects to the net using this as does Laptop 2 (Vista). Laptop 2 is able to see Laptop 1 but not vice versa. I naively thought that Laptop 2 would have appeared in My Network Places of Laptop 1. I have shared the C drive of both laptops. Any ideas why I can't see Laptop 2 using Laptop 1 |

Did you allow remote connection under System Properties\Remote?
