CD Question
Hi,
I've run out of options. I am running Vista Home 32. Everything has been good for over a year. Then, all of a sudden 2 days ago my CD/ DVD's disappear. They are seen fine in the BIOS, but there is no IDE or CD/DVD in the Decive Manager. I'm seeing that 7026 error in the event log. I've tried over 20 suggestions from the internet, did a system restore from 3 weeks ago........nothing is working. So, I think it is time to re-install and see what happens. Problem: I have an ASUS P5B motherboard, no CD. I cannot fund the driver CD that came with it......so, how do I re-install??? I mean, once I re- install, how will Windows be able to install the Network Drivers and so on....... I cannot find anything on ASUS's site, nothing at all......... Can anyone offer anything? Thanks! |

Ran the program.....nothing....no IDE anything........Re-installing an Intel chipset right now. If that does not work...well, reinstall time..... |

CD Question
Many MOBO drivers just like other drivers for Vista are already built into
the Vista DVD installation files so you may not need a separate CD. wrote in message ...
