So I installed linux on a Vista laptop dual booting with the original Vista install. After a while I uninstall linux, and now windows vista won't boot. So I have all the documents off of my computer I want really, its just a work computer, doesn't have a lot of personal stuff on it. So I was just going to completely reinstall Vista...but there is a problem. I put in the install DVD and it will go past the load bar thing, and then stop on the screen with the mouse... I can move the mouse, but it won't do anything. I let it set for about an hour now, no change. And the DVD is the OS disk that came with the laptop...so it should work. Any hints or solutions? My OS is Windows Vista Home Basic 64bit Edition. Thanks! -- g0bl1n |
