New Vista machine, Old 2000 machine. Both on private net at home. Can share
and see files across net just fine in both directions. Two printers hooked up to Vista box. Originally connected successfully to them on 2000 machine, printed pages ok. Now, 2000 box hangs on any app that is looking for printer: Word, Notepad, even Printers folder. Can't even get to Printers Folder anymore on 2000. Any suggestions ? A bit nervous to just try and edit registry in 2000 machine to remove those printers. |

As I've been reading in this forum, it seems like there is a particular
problem with HP printers. On the 2000 machine, I initially declared my HP Laserjet 1300 to be the default printer, and the second printer is a Canon i560 color.
