None deleted user folder
I recently deleted a user account via Control Panel, User Accounts. Later whilst browsing in Windows Explorer I discovered the user's folder was still there in C:\users\usersname. I have adminstrator rights but the system would not let me delete this folder giving the error message that it was open by someone else? Sorry to be a bore if this question has been asked before but I couldn't find a reference to it in the various forums. Can anyone help please? -- KelticGuy |

Hello KelticGuy, Sometimes you will only be able to delete that while in Safe Mode. http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/123496-safe-mode.html Hope this helps, Shawn -- Brink *There are no dumb questions, just the people that do not ask them.* '*VISTA FORUMS*' (http://www.vistax64.com) *Please post feedback to help others.* |

Were you logged on to the account when you deleted it? Try recreating the
user and then go through the control panel to delete the user. "KelticGuy" wrote in message ... I recently deleted a user account via Control Panel, User Accounts.
