Default product key invalid after a year of use...can only access Internet

I am suddenly getting error code 0xC004F050 that my product key is
invalid. I bought my laptop in Feb. from Best Buy and Vista was
pre-loaded. I installed an update (service pack???) today and used my
computer for several hours. Then suddenly this error! I've put in the
key several times and nothing! I can't access anything except the
internet!! Can anyone help? I'm a teacher and I was typing a test for
tomorrow!!!

Thanks!
Wendy

Hi,

Are you using a KMS key? The error code indicates that it was not entered
correctly. If so, you need to check with your network admin to resolve this.
