Did modify/ added system manufacturer to the bios entry even rebooted no change to the system properties page. Information does appear in 2 places on a HP machine but there has got to be a value that unlocks the second spot in order to enter changes. A guess but no luck so far. That only works in XP. In Vista, it is in two sets of registry entries: The first set of registry entries (to change the information on System Properties) are in: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\Curr entVersion\OEMInformation Change the following values to whatever it is you want to display: Model Logo (this would be the path to a bmp file, max 120x120) Manufacturer SupportURL SupportHours SupportPhone The second set of registry entries (to change System Information page) are in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\HARDWARE\DESCRIPTION\System\BIO S Change the following values and you will be all set: SystemManufacturer SystemProductName BaseBoardManufacturer BIOSVendor Why Microsoft put it in two places I don't understand, but there you have it. Interesting. Though I could have sworn the older (WinNt thru WinXP) method had worked for me in the past, you seem to be correct. I'll have to experiment a bit.
