Hello,
I'm running 32 bit Vista Ultimate. Periodically I cannot boot my PC, it crashes with the blue screen. When I try to boot in safe mode, the boot stops displaying ../drivers/crcdisk.sys. Booting the "Last known good configuration" usually helps, but temporarily. There are many reports about this issue, but I couldn't find any good solution. I've tried chkdsk /r or /f, checked BIOS - didn't help. Is there a permanent solution to this problem? What's causing this? It seems that it started after the Windows update, but I'm not sure, and I don't know what exactly was installed. Also, this problem seems to be hardware related. I'm working with 3 Vista PCs, only one has this issue. I would appreciate your help. Thank you, Peter |
