Default Vista laptop clients and SBS 2003 Environment

What is the best way to join a Vista LAPTOP computer to a Windows Small
Business Server 2003 R2 environment? The http://SERVERNAME/connectcomputer
works well on the office desktops however; I know the updates/patches I
installed on the Small Business Server in regards to Vista clients, remove
Power Savings technology with Group Policy. (Don't Sleep, Always On). How are
people connecting their VISTA laptop users to a Small Business Server
Environment these days? What is the MS Preferred method? Thanks.
