Hi everyone,
Since I have vista64 I have a problem that I have identified to be related to RAID drives, I.E : When I share a non-RAID drive on my vista64 machine, I can access it through any other machine of my LAN (a laptop and rendering node). I can map the drive and do whatever I want just like if the drive was actually attached to the others computers, as expected. BUT, as soon as the drive is a RAID one, I only get a "access denied" message, all the time and that is despite I've tried to add full access to ALL kind of users in the authorizations dialog. I really need help to figure this out, this start to be a real need. Thanks and sorry for my english, Erwan |

Is this hardware or software RAID? In other words, are you setting up the
array in Windows' Disk Management or using a utility provided by a third party? Keep in mind that there are two sets of permissions you need to set. One is the permissions on the file system (for example, at the root of the new drive), which are set on the Security tab, and the other is Share permissions, which are set on the Share tab, where you set up the share.
