I upgraded from XP home to Vista HP, and now I get a strange menu before
Vista loads. After the BIOS loads, but before Vista, I get a strange menu. It asks if I want to load a previous version of Windows, or load Vista. It's not a critical error, just annoying. Anyway to get rid of it and just automatically load Vista? The whole reason I upgraded was so I don't have to use a previous version of Windows. |

Hello BigJim, See if you have XP still listed as a default OS boot option using Method Two in this tutorial below. If you do use step 7 to delete it. http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/82...n-default.html Hope this helps, Shawn bigjim283;854471 Wrote: I upgraded from XP home to Vista HP, and now I get a strange menu before Vista loads.
