Default vista bsod help


hI there i have just installed vista on my computer, with lots of
problems basiclly my computer keeps crashing to blue screen
DRIVER_IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL
0X000000D1 (0XA1E1D974,0X00000007,0X00000000,0XA1E1D974)
PLEASE pppppppppppplease help me

mb=abit nf8
pro=amd Athlon 64 3000+ 2Ghz
ram=1.5 gb
graphic card= geforce3 ti 200
hd=western dig sata 2 160gb
op=vista home prem 32bit
i have disconnected everything apart from the gaphics card i dont have
a spear 1 to try, sometime my computer will boot up sometime not i have
look everywhere.
could it be my graphic card cos i have downloaded vista Upgrade Advisor
it recommend upgrading graphics card????

Default vista bsod help

See if a Vista Driver actually exists for your Graphics Card.
If not, follow the advice; buy a new card.

Thanks for replying was going to anyway, i had all ready look, i could
not find any. do you think that the graphic card could be the problem??

I guess that if you upgrade your grapichcard drivers it will solve your
problem.

If not that works, check your RAM.

Default vista bsod help

I had roughly the same problem, and it was a memory problem.

My BIOS was set to 1.8V and the memory needed 2.2V. Windows XP (I
suppose) never taxed the memory to need more voltage, but Vista kept
crashing.

Worthwhile to check. Good Luck
