New to Vista and not a geek.
When surfing, I look up to find both forward and back buttons are not lit. The only option I have to return to the previous page is to click on the "X" icon. When I do it takes me back to my desktop. |

Forward and back buttons only work when you are navigating away from your
home page "without" opening a new tab or window. If either of these are occurring you need to X out of the tab or window. -- Richard Urban Microsoft MVP Windows Desktop Experience "cowpro" wrote in message ... New to Vista and not a geek.
