I tried to connect to my virtual server (WinXP 32 on Microsoft Virtual Server) at home via RDP, but was unable to. So, I connected into the host machine (Vista Ultimate 64). For whatever reason, the NIC is no longer attached to the virtual server, and I can't add it back in. I spent about 15 minutes connected to the host machine, and I get disconnected. Now I get the following error message when I try to connect: [image: http://i98.photobucket.com/albums/l2...orMessage.jpg] Ever seen something like this before? How can the network connection not exist if I am seeing that error message through the network connection that supposedly doesn't exist? Unfortunately I can't get to the event logs because RDP was my only means into the machine remotely. Any thoughts? -- JWhipple |

NOTHING significant in the event logs AT ALL. I was unable to get the NIC to associate with the virtual server anymore until I did a Windows System Recovery back to the previous day. Scary! -- JWhipple |
