Hi, Ive got a vista home premium pc. Im trying to setup a raid 5 with three extra drives. Intel 965 chipset. Ive tried to install the raid drivers but in device manager/hardware they dont appear. I I can boot from my OS drive ok when Im in IDE mode, I can set the raid array up ok but when I try to boot into my OS with the raid set up it crashes on the cylon eye stage. When Ive tried booting in safe mode it gets to loading the CRC driver then reboots. Can anyone help? Cheers, Peter -- 12steps ------------------------------------------------------------------------ 12steps's Profile: http://forums.techarena.in/members/12steps.htm View this thread: http://forums.techarena.in/vista-set...ll/1053358.htm http://forums.techarena.in |

Ive tried all the vista drivers I could find on their website (installing onto my OS which is already setup) they all come back saying that "pc does not meet the minimum requirements" or something similar. Ive tried loading the f6 drivers onto a usb and loading them with the "add drivers" with the vista dvd and "repair" After rebooting though and checking in device manager it still says that the drivers are the stock microsoft ones...grrr. Any suggestions? -- 12steps ------------------------------------------------------------------------ 12steps's Profile: http://forums.techarena.in/members/12steps.htm View this thread: http://forums.techarena.in/vista-set...ll/1053358.htm http://forums.techarena.in |

Suggestion Call Intel or contact Intel since that is the only place where you will get these specific drivers
Call Intel and get the info from where you can get those drivers off their site. That is the one and only option that you have -- Peter Please Reply to Newsgroup for the benefit of others Requests for assistance by email can not and will not be acknowledged.
