Default Upgrade Win Xp PRO to Vista Home Premium - Windows Easy Transfer (REPLACEMEMT)

G'Day All,

This requires a clean install - ok!

I can use WET/XPpro to transfer settings etc to a USB 80MB external drive.

I THINK that I THEN need to:

1. Upgrade to Vista
2. Reinstall apps
3. Use WET/VistaH/P to restore the settings from the USB drive.

Are steps 2 and 3 in the correct order?

Thanks Tweak - I'll have a small Dry Ginger well diluted with Scotch first!
