my sata hd is now a scsi device
i just got a new sata HD and installed windows vista. it initially detected my old sata hd, as i had put all my drivers and programs/patches on my old hd to make updating faster. when i rebooted, my old sata hd now appears as a scsi device and it has disappeared from windows explorer and disk managment. -- blitzgp |

Yep! That's how it is in Vista. It supports SATA as SCSI. Now let it be,

is it possible to make it work as a scsi device? ;p it works fine if i uninstall the sata controller drivers, but as soon as i reboot it works, reinstalls the drivers, then tells me to reboot. and after reboot it doesnt work -- blitzgp |
