Are you thinking of buying the new mobo and fixing this by yourself? If you are, you're in WAAAAAAY over your head on this project. I can guarantee that you will fail. What caused the water damage? If you spilled water on the keyboard then it
is probably the keyboard and not the MOBO that needs to be replaced. Since you can now buy laptops for $500 I certainly do not suggest paying $500 to get your current MOBO replaced.
