I just got Vista Premium and I went to try and print something inWord and all it keeps doing is wanting to go to a pnr file. I don't have that box checked on the print screen nad I can't figure out what the heck is going on. I just want to print some simple documents! Please help. I have a Konica Minolta Page Pro 1400w that worked just fine with Windows XP. Help! -- sveeder50 Posted via http://www.vistaheads.com |

It is behaving as if the printer driver is set to print to a file. Navigate
to the printer in your printer list. Right mouse Click on the printer name. Select Properties from the context menu. Then Ports. Select the port the printer uses-probably a USB port. -- Tom MSMVP 1998-2007 "sveeder50" wrote in message ... I don't see your printer listed for Vista compatibility he http://kmbs.konicaminolta.us/content...tasupport.html Go to the Printers applet in Control Panel and Add Printer. If your Konica is listed, use the drivers included with Vista. If it isn't listed, you can try and install the XP drivers on your Vista machine. If neither of those things works, then I'm sorry but your printer will not work with Vista and you'll need to replace it with one that does. Malke -- MS-MVP Elephant Boy Computers - Don't Panic!
