Default Network printer drivers

I'm running a simple home network under WindowsXP Home with my Vista
Home Premium 64 box networked to the XP box, hardwired through a
wireless router. My Epson printer is running on the XP box and is set
up to be shared on the network. Trying to print from the Vista 64
machine, I get a message telling me I need the correct driver installed.
This is probably a simple minded question, but does that mean I need an
XP driver on the Vista machine, or a Vista 64 driver on the XP
"server?" Whichever way, how and where do you install an "incorrect"
driver on the appropriate machine?

Since you are attempting to print on a Vista machine, that machine
will need a Vista driver for the printer.
