Hi there,
Unlike XP, my external 250 gb WD HDD slows down vista boot process considerably. Any suggestions? I am really sick of plugging it off/on during boot.. Thanks.. |

I know exactly what you are talking about. I have three external TB drives attached to my main PC. I dread rebooting the computer. It takes FOREVER for the computer to boot up when the externals are attached. I'm talking upwards of an hour (I actually was curious to see how long it would take since I usually have no patience after five minutes or so). If I unplug all of the externals, it boots up no problem. But I hate doing that since I have to set the share permissions and all that mess. I hope someone can come up with a solution. -- papa47 Posted via http://www.vistaheads.com |
