Default Adding a Network Printer

I've got an HP Laserjet 2200D connected to a pc that runs Server 2003. That
printer is working fine as does printing to it from a couple of workstations
running XP Pro. (Port name is DOT4_001.)

However, I've just got a new desktop pc that runs Vista 64 and I'm having
difficulty connecting it as a network printer.

If I go through the conventional route of automatically finding the printer
then the instal fails when the correct drivers can't be found; if I download
the Vista 64 file of drivers from the HP site and point the printer install
to the folder where the unpacked inf files are, I get another message back
saying the correct driver can't be found.

Can SKS tell me what I need to do to get the printer working from my vista
pc

Tx

Sounds like the Driver you downloaded may not the correct driver for the
printer. I would start with HP and get someone to confirm that it is in fact
correct for 64 bit Vista.
