Programs and Features, System Restore won't work
I am trying to uninstall gamevance from my computer, but cannot open Programs and Features, nor can System Restore work. I get a Catastrophic Error code: 0x8000FFFF with System Restore. Programs and Features simply won't open. Any ideas? -- cathyneworleans

Programs and Features, System Restore won't work
Tap F8 right at Startup, and see if you can get into Safe Mode.
Try uninstalling from there, or doing a System Restore from there. If using Norton, disable it before using SR.
