Default wireless signals drop

My guess is you have a "green" PC and your PC is not set to performance. If
so your PC will send a signal to the wireless access point telling it to
buffer data. From your description your access point can't do this and is
dropping the connection. Check for a firmware update for the access point,
or set your PC to always on high performance mode.
