Default Network share no longer available Vista & XP

Hi All - have a strange problem: Vista Enterprise with 3 file shares.
Mixed group of users with 4 Vista and 10 XP in a domain. Each user has
an Administrator account on the Vista PC, and full access to each of the
3 file shares.

A few times a week, the XP people can't get to the file shares, while
the Vista people still can. When an XP user clicks on the disconnected
file share they get no response. They reboot, and a notice comes up "the
previously connected shares have not been reconnected".

This also happens with a Vista user, but not all! There will be a red-x
on the share, and when they click it will not restore the connection.

Any ideas on how to fix? Within a few months we will all be on Vista,
but I'd like to sort it out before then.
Thanks for any help! - Ernie

Do you have 3rd party security software? Also, Vista Enterprise limits 10
connection sessions. You may want to use net statistics server to check how
many session are using. This how to may help too.
