So this is how it all went down, I have a program that totally
uninstalls software, its registry and little tidbits programs leave
behind. I was uninstalling a obsolete 3d program & the program froze a
bit, then my spybot activated and said something was trying to change
the registry, a windows media player exe file, and a couple of other
suspicious programs, it recommended I block it, so I did, and then the
uninstaller program froze again, and said there was something blocking
it, and it would not close down at all, it said there was some kind of
error, and either quit or continue, I tried both, and nothing would
happen, so I tried the ctrl+alt+delete option, and I got a pitch black
screen then it said it cannot open, login failed.

So frustrated with that, I restarted the comp, and thats where the
problems started, I now cannot boot ultimate 64, I get a blue screen
stating fatal error, and it keeps on restarting, luckily I have a dual
boot with ultimate 32 bit, so I can retrieve my files for backup, if
need be, Im hoping I dont have to though. All this while I am doing my
final project for film school, with my deadline thursday nov. 6, 2008.

During boot, I tried safe mode, debugger, previous working condition
restore point, all the same thing, blue screen fatal error.

Within the 32 bit however, I restored the windows folder for the 64 bit
version to a previous version a few days ago. reboot, same thing.

I have the 64 bit disk, although my comp has multiple drives, dvd
players and 8gigs of ram, I would have to disconnect for it to work, as
the original version would crash every time during boot, SP1 fixed all
those errors. So I am just hoping there is a easier way to troubleshoot
this problem. So I dont have to save a couple of hundred gigs of
work/programs, to reformat, that would be really tedious and time
consuming.

Any ideals would be welcome.

Seriously.

Work from the 32bit version for now.
then, after your project is over...
get back to the problem on the 64 bit side.

The 3rd party utility looks like it hosed your system.
You should either not have used it at all

or else not have blocked it's operation.

Anyway, if you attempt to repair your system and take down your whole
machine...
you will be in major trouble.

Once your project is complete, the pressure will be off
and you can trouble-shoot in a more relaxed manner.

I'd be sure to backup to an external drive
as you just may end up having to reinstall

my second hard drive, dvd reader, and took out 4 gigs of ram, booted up
with my 64 bit disk, did the repair and viola!!! it worked !!!! YAY!
Im so relieved, as I would have had to install all the programs in my 32
bit hard drive, plugins, all my settings, and whatever else to do my
work, which would have taken forever. yeah Im going to stay away from
that cleanse uninstaller and anything else that can screw with my
system's registry for now, till I finish my project. That sure is
stressful. Thanks And now Im back to work hard on my project.
