Why don't you organize your thoughts and just start over with a new
thread. This one is a PITA to try to read and comprehend.

Hi Jerry. . .

I looked for a new thread for you, but did not find one. Thank you for
the reports.
One is telling me that you have a 500 GB HDD w/ 1200 GB free. Only
drive c: is listed and no others.

Code:
--------------------

Drive C:
Description Local Fixed Disk
Compressed No
File System NTFS
Size 500,00 GB (536.870.912.000 bytes)
Free Space 1,20 TB (1.320.980.656.128 bytes)

--------------------

The other report that you have a 1.5 TB HDD w/ 1.5 TB free space.
Obviously these figures can't be right.

I also noticed in WERcon that you have dozens of app crashes and app
hangs w/ 0xc00000005 exception - a memory access violation. I think that
!Avast is causing them b/c its firewall is blocking ports. The Microsoft
NET driver ntdll.dll named as probable cause in many. I highly doubt
this to be the case. The real culprit is getting away at the scene of
the crash and ntdll.dll is left to blame. You also have AVG installed.
Only 1 a/v program s/b installed and I suggest that you use the Windows
Firewall.

For info, zipping up those 2 files that totaled 4.4mb would have
resulted in a 202k zip file.

Regards. . .

Hi again, i did start a new thread though.. but this one is still
understanadable for you luckily.

Basically i read: my system is pretty 'non stable/not right working.
The only option is see is a complete new install, allthough everything for
the rest works fine though.
It's too absurd that my computer reads c disk as 500 gb while i have 1,5 tb.
for all the other things, the non ability of resizing, i see only the
solution of complete reinstall..

which will take me a day..

I have a partiotn with vista ultimae on it, it's aroun1,3 TB big.
It still has around 700 GB free space.
I already reduced the virtiual memory size to 200 mb to make sure that
windows finds space but no..
It keeps on saying there is 0 space to use (and then suggest to have a
look
at the virtual memory or at the moment'recordings'(i think with that
is
meant systemreplacement, the replacepoints.
Should i remove those systemreplacepoints and where i they located?
And what about this: i just read that systemreplacement ony works with
a
disk of at leas 1 GB, is that true?

Thanks for all your help,

Jerry

to do the trick.

but still my system malfuntions, if i'd go to the management console and go
to the screen where to resize/epand, create partions etc, it's impossible to
assig non used space to a partion..anymody suggestions for that?
donot think so, wiill try to fix it with the program or reinstall vista.
