About a week ago I suddenly couldn't open itunes because Data Execution
Prevention prevented it and I also noticed that more than half of the entries
in control panel were no longer working and control panel wouldn't even show
up in my start menu. I realized the date that I had to have my copy of
windows vista home premium activated by had already passed and understanding
this to be my main problem I have been trying to activate it but my computer
seems absolutely incapable of doing this. i get the same error whether I'm
trying to update or activate: 80070426
I'm at the point where I want to reinstall windows vista so I can get
another chance to activate it. I bought my computer at fry's electronics a
large electronics store in san jose and have no idea how to reinstall windows
vista without a reinstall dvd.
I need advice. Either on how to reinstall windows vista without the dvd or
on what else I can do to fix my problem.

Athlon Dual Core Processor 4850e 2.50 GHz
64-bit
windows vista home premium
