Sorry to sound ignorant, but I don't know much about computers. A few days ago, I opened my laptop to find that my desktop was just a black screen with the window which would normally come up when you click my computer, displaying only certain things on my hard drive. after about 20 minutes of searching, I found a way to connect to the internet to search for a solution which I have yet to find. Any help? -- Joe321 |

Any help? Hello Joe, Did you activate Vista within the 30 day trial period? It sounds like you may be in Reduced Functionality Mode. Check with this tutorial below to see if this is what you are experiencing. If so, then it will show you how to get out of this. http://www.vistax64.com/tutorials/12...lity-mode.html Hope this helps, Shawn -- Brink *There are no dumb questions, just the people that do not ask them.* '*Windows 7 Forums*' (http://www.sevenforums.com/) *and* '*::Vista Forums::*' (http://www.vistax64.com) *Please post feedback to help others.* |
