Default Wireless Entertainment 8000 Navigational Pad

Hi..just purchased this entertainment 8000.

Just wondering the navigational pad that you have, can you use this
like moving your mouse.
Can you move it easily or like SOOOO SLOW or not moving at all.

The one that I have, if I choose the pointer then it won't move the
pointer at all or if move only about 1cm and then stop or stuck and
cannot move.

If I choose the navigation symbol (opposite the pointor symbol or
switch to the left) still the same thing.

Do you think I get the faulty navigational pad?

is yours one can move easily like to the right left top or bottom?

Also, if i press the top, it won't go but I need to press a bit to the
top left in order to go up. I think something wrong with mine.

Please let me know yours one. THanks.

oh yeah...one more thing.
I just purchased recently but the bottom of the mouse shows
manufactured August 2007.
Don't you think it is too old? or I've got OLD stock?

anyone own this desktop set?

it is worse when i am using it as directional navigation pad. as a
mouse navigation not too bad but still having difficulties if I want to
go to a certain link probably it will take 15-20seconds. using the
normal mouse is of course faster.

how about yours one?
