Which OCR software is compatible with Vista 32 bit
I currently have textbridge pro millenium OCR software that works fine
in win xp. If I upgrade to Vista 32 bit, will it work? Can anyone recommend another OCR software that works with Vista? Does Vista have any built in OCR that can be accessed from within Word? Does any other software such as Adobe acrobat have an OCR engine that works in Vista? Thanks for any advice.

Check Textbridge Pro site for your version and whether its compatible with

Microsoft Office Document Scanning will handle OCR in Vista. Works fine for me, but I have no idea if it works as well as Textbridge, or even if Textbridge will work in Vista.

I'm using Omnipage Pro 15 in Vista Home Premium, and it works fine. Version
16 is definitely Vista compatible. The currrent version of Abbyy FineReader is also fine in Vista. Can't speak for Textbridge. SteveT

The OCR software that is included in PaperPort 5.0 works fine under Vista.
