Default Tried to run SP1 and now I only get an error

I was having problems with my PC so I tried running the service pack 1.
Now when I boot up in anything other than safe mode I get the following
error:
0Cx0000022 - access denied
A process has requested access to an object but has not been granted
those access rights.

When I click ok it just logs off. Also in the lower right corner it
says "This copy of windows is not genuine.

I have tried the restore process but it doesn't help.

I can't seem to access the CD that came with the PC so I don't know how
I can reload windows.

Any suggestion are appreciated.
Thanks.

If you need to wipe the hard drive and reinstall Windows check the
instructions that came with your computer, or the instructions on the
computer manufacturer's Web site. The process of restoring Windows to
factory-new condition varies from computer to computer.

Hi,

I was having problems with my PC so I tried running the service pack 1.

Mistake number one. Installing a Service Pack does not fix a problem, you
needed to address the problme prior to installing the service pack. Likely
you may have made removing malware harder (which is, by the way, the most
likely source of problems).

Now when I boot up in anything other than safe mode I get the following
error:

Well, believe it or not, that actually good. It means there's nothing wrong
with your machine, there's just something trying to load in normal mode that
isn't supposed to. Try this:

While in safe mode, click start and type regedit, then hit enter to open
the registry editor. Expand the branches to reach this key:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogon

Click on the Winlogon key, then examine the right side for the shell string.
Double click it and delete the contents. Type in just:

explorer.exe

Click ok and close up. Now restart the system and try to login normally. See
if this helps.
