Hi all, I've read through the other threads on this and have seen the solutions suggested, but none of them are working. 1) I have a Lexmark 7350 installed and working on an XP Pro machine. 2) My computer is a Vista Home 64 bit machine. 3) They are successfully networked (I can read/modify files on the XP machine) so all the networking stuff is set up properly. 4) I have XP drivers installed on the XP machine, Vista drivers on the Vista machine. 5) In the Network window, I can see the "Lexmark" printer on the XP machine. 6) When I try to connect to it, I get an error thats says it can't resolve the network path or something to that effect. I've tried the "install as a local printer, then add a new port", but when I try to add the port, same message, "can't resolve network path". It's like the printer doesn't exist but it's right there and I can see it on the network page. No typos or anything... I've cleaned the printer drivers, reinstalled them, no dice. There's a "Microsoft XPS" something or other printer on the XP machine, just for kicks I tried adding that one and of course it worked. It's just the Lexmark printer it doesn't work for. Any suggestions? I can see the damn thing, I just can't connect to it. -- Scott927 |
